Personal information

My first degree is in Zoology at Durham University, before working at the UK HGMP Resource Centre, and MRC geneservice. I obtained my MSc by thesis at Durham University on "Rapid identification of new transcribed human sequences".

I have been involved in various genotyping studies and linkage projects using liquid handling automation specifically whilst running the 'Linkage Hotel' and whilst working for PerkinElmer.
I have also previously worked on process improvement at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, I have also completed an MBA at The University of Warwick.
